Applied Conflict Researcher, PhD in Political Philosophy/Applied Ethics (Munich Center for Ethics, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich) after M.A. studies in Comparative Literature, German Literature and Philosophy (Free University Berlin, Humboldt-Universität Berlin). Business Mediator (MuCDR), systemic solution-oriented Coach and Supervisor (DSGv). PhD research stays at Renmin University Beijing with an EU-China Fellowship from the Centre for Applied Policy Research (CAP).

20 years of experience in action-oriented research, support and coaching of negotiation, mediation and decision-making processes in international political conflicts, amongst others in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office and the Robert Bosch Foundation (Impact Hub: Integrated Impact of Integrated EngagementsViadrina Mediation Hub, Dialogue Processes in Ukraine). Focus on developing innovative methods for "unsolvable" conflicts (Tough Choices research cluster with the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich, swisspeace and Mediation and Dialogue Research Center of Kyiv Mohyla Academy).

Teaching in the MA Conflict and Democracy, ViAPACS Certificate, MA International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, MA Mediation and Conflict Management at Viadrina, in the Federal Foreign Office`s Training Programme for International Diplomats and the International Parliamentary Fellowship Programme of the German Bundestag.

Coaching and supervision for international and local third-party actors in the peacemaking and humanitarian aid field.
